EducationDr. Jacobson completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Fordham University and an NIMH Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Columbia University/ New York State Psychiatric Institute. She currently serves as Associate Professor and Chair of the Psychology Department at Iona College. Her research has been widely published in medical and psychology journals, as well as in reference and clinical handbooks. She has frequently been featured in media outlets including The Today Show, USA Today, Huffington Post, Parenttoolkit, and on HLN, a CNN network.
